Mr. Prasad Pant, our CEO, was invited at the 2nd Summer School for Sustainable Chemistry (S3C) for Sustainable Development at Leuphana University Lüneburg. At this conference Mr. Pant delievered a lecture on ‘Practical Examples of Sustainable chemistry in the textile industry and downstream’. His lecture focused on some well known sustainable technologies such as the THEN Air Flow technology, Cold Pad Batch, Pad-Humidify-FIX more popularly known as the ‘E-control Process’ and some of the latest innovations like the super critical carbon-dioxide dyeing and digital printing. The event had speakers from various global association and forums working on sustainable developments such as SAICM, UNIDO, Germany Enivronment Agency (UBA) and many more.
About the 2nd Summer School on Sustainable chemistry for Sustainable Development –
The 2nd Summer School on Sustainable Chemistry for Sustainable Development is organized jointly by the Sector Program Rioplus, the Partnership on Sustainable Textiles of Deutsche Gesellschaft für Internationale Zusammenarbeit (GIZ) GmbH on behalf of the Federal Ministry for Economic Cooperation and Development (BMZ) and the Institute of Sustainable and Environmental Chemistry of Leuphana University Lüneburg. The event took place in Lüneburg, Germany from the 12th to the 16th of September 2016. The purpose of the 2nd Summer School is to provide young professionals from industrialized as well as from developing countries an understanding of the newest theoretical and practical developments of Sustainable Chemistry. Beside that the international Summer School will treat specific problems like wet processes in the textile production.
