Algal Growth Inhibition Toxicity


Algal Growth Inhibition Toxicity is an alternative test to the traditional fish toxicity test (LC50) which is slowly being discouraged due to a ban on Animal Testing.

The purpose of this test is to determine the effects of a substance on the growth rate of unicellular green algal species. NimkarTek is proud to offer this test for all chemical manufacturers who need to test the aquatic toxicity of their chemical. This data can then be entered in the Section 12 of your Safety Data Sheet (SDS).
